Candidates form industry / Profession with Masters Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology with First Class degree in Engineering at Bachelor’s or Masters Level with Professional work of high standing recognized a National or International level equivalent to Ph.D. and 10 years experience in

Teaching / Industry / Research after acquiring Bachelors degree, out of which 5 years must be at the Senior level comparable to the of Asst. Professor.

Principal

Qualifications same as that of Professor in Engineering / Technology and

15 years experience in teaching / Industry/ Professional out of which

3 years must be at Professor level or

5 years at Asst. Professor level and or

Lecturer (Selection Grade) and / or equivalent

Desirable : Administrative Experience is responsible position.

Qualification at Bachelor or master level should be related to any course existing in the institution, where the post is to be sought.

Candidates from Industry or Profession with First Class Master Degree in the appropriate subject of Humanities or Science with Professional work of high standing recognized at National / international level equivalent to Ph.D. and

10 years experience out of which at least 5 years should be at Senior level comparable with that of Asst. Professor

Note:

1. Details of appropriate branch in Engineering / Technology are given in Annexure I.

2. Details of appropriate subject in Humanities / Science Mathematics is given in Annexure II

3. If class / division is not awarded at BE/ME, minimum 60% in the aggregate shall be considered as equivalent to First Class.

4. If grade point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and is given in Annexure III.

5. Professional work of high standing equivalent to Ph.D. will be evaluated by Expert Committee constituted for this purpose
